What Does Fleet Detailing Cost in Phoenix? An Honest Breakdown

Fleet detailing in Phoenix is quoted per vehicle, not per fleet. Here's what moves the number up or down, and how to get a quote you can actually compare.

The most common question we get from business owners is some version of: “What's it going to cost for all of them?” The honest answer is that fleet detailing is priced per vehicle, and the per-vehicle number depends on five things. Once you know what they are, you can compare quotes properly — and avoid the mistake of taking a single-vehicle retail price and multiplying by twenty.

1. Vehicle count at one location

The biggest driver. A detailer's cost is dominated by travel and setup; once we're at your yard with equipment staged, each additional vehicle is more efficient than the first. That's why multiple vehicles serviced at the same location can qualify for preferred per-vehicle pricing, and why one truck at a time across town can't.

2. Vehicle size and type

A compact pickup and a high-roof Transit with shelving are not the same job. Cargo vans, crew cabs, utility bodies, and trucks with toolboxes take longer and are priced accordingly.

3. Condition

The first service on a fleet that hasn't been detailed in two years is a restoration, not a cleaning. Expect the initial reset to be the most expensive visit; recurring maintenance afterward is substantially less because the vehicles are being held at a standard rather than rescued.

4. Service frequency

A recurring program — a full reset followed by maintenance visits every 2 to 6 weeks — lets a detailer plan routes and staffing, and that predictability is reflected in pricing. One-off deep cleans are quoted on their own.

5. Service level

  • Interior-only reset — for fleets whose exteriors are washed elsewhere.
  • Interior + exterior — for vehicles that are part of your public image.
  • Decontamination — for technician cabs with chemical or heavy-use residue; includes extraction.
  • Maintenance — light interior and exterior upkeep between full services.

How to get a quote you can compare

Give every detailer the same information: number of vehicles, types, where they park, current condition (photos help), and how often you want service. Ask what's included at each service level, whether extraction is included or an add-on, what documentation you receive, and how billing works. Then compare per-vehicle, per-visit numbers — not totals.

Put it into practice.
